In addition to taking advanced math and physics courses myself, I have taught college-level calculus and introductory physics courses for more than four years, and have tutored physics and math for an additional five years. I enjoy working with people to learn what they need help with or don't understand in a calm, nonthreatening way; the goal is to help you understand the material and complete your assignments in a shame- and judgment-free environment while adapting to your style and needs. Hobbies
I enjoy gardening and swing and blues dancing in my spare time! I also studied French in undergrad and pursued a broad general education curriculum, so I have a wide appreciation for other disciplines and can connect with STEM and non-STEM students alike - I was a group facilitator and instructor at a summer math/science Upward Bound program for high school kids, and enjoy making these topics relatable for people of all backgrounds.
