Experience
I have 3+ years experience teaching ESL at the university level and 3+ years experience working as an ESL writing specialist at the university level. I have been a private tutor for many high school and college-aged students over the past few years and have experience tutoring on a variety of essays (brainstorming, organization, proofreading)--school essays, personal statements, statements of purpose, research papers, etc. I also have experience teaching/tutoring in all four skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. In 2014, I designed and piloted an original English for Specific Purposes program between a US university and a university in Seoul. In the summer of 2012, I taught 22 reading classes to native English speakers ranging from kindergarten-aged students to adults.
