Experience
I love math and physics, and have years of experience as a university professor and researcher. My approach in teaching difficult concepts in math or physics is to build from the bottom up, starting from what the student already understands, ideally from the student's intuitive understanding of the world whenever possible. This requires finding new ways to explain challenging ideas, since every student starts with a different set of knowledge and skills; it is continually satisfying to devise an explanation that makes everything come together for a student and allows them to continue building forward.
