I attended high school at Union Mine High School in the small foothill town of El Dorado, CA. I will graduate in less than a month from the University of California at Davis with degrees in English and German. My strongest interest in these fields is English literature and creative writing, and study of German for the intricacies of the language itself. I also have a wide breadth of education in the humanities generally, and some rudimentary experience with computer programming.
Experience
I have about 4 years of experience studying German in a University setting, and have always been fascinated with reading and writing in my free time from a very young age. I would like to tutor following my graduation in order to gain valuable experience that I can take with me should I choose to pursue education beyond a bachelor's degree. It would also assist me in keeping the material fresh in my mind while I am not currently enrolled in university courses.
