I am a recent graduate from UC Davis with my M.S. and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. I have always maintained a GPA of 3.5+ with many quarters on the dean's list.
Experience
4+ years of experience in tutoring privately in Math, General Chemistry, and Engineering courses with tons of references. I have tutored at UC Riverside at the Academic Learning center, and have many regular college/high school/middle school students. Most recently I have worked as a teaching assistant for engineering courses at UC Davis. My main focus when tutoring is helping students through practice problems and reviewing supplementary material that may have been overlooked in the classroom. If a student is struggling with a specific topic I search for new ways to explain the method and find what works best for each individual student. I will look for what topics the teacher has planned for the upcoming weeks and present them to the student prior to the professor. Hobbies
I have a ton of hobbies: snowboarding, wake-boarding, running, motor sports, etc. My passion is in motor sports. I have a 250cc dirt bike that I take to the local tracks to ride with friends and enjoy working on in my free time. I have a competitive personality when it comes to sports, and enjoy the benefits of diligent hard work and practice.
