Experience
I am open to online tutoring, and have experience with online tutoring as a TA for college courses during the time of the pandemic. Info about my tutoring: - I can do as long as needed, but I tend to cap at around 3 hrs per day. - My hourly rate is $25/hr - I offer a GROUP DISCOUNT of 15% off the total price for groups of 2 or more people I truly enjoy helping students of all ages with math and science, among other subjects. Many of my students have been ones that go through other tutors, with whom they don't get results from. I enjoy helping the students get better at the subject(s), appreciate the beauty of science and math, and overcome any psychological barriers. I have a strong history of helping people of all ages overcome math anxiety, preventing math anxiety when it could be coming, and many of them will love math/science for life and it even becomes a part of who they are. Especially for young children, this especially helps with critical thinking and logical thinking skills, which transfers over to other subjects such as writing. My students all have received a much better grade, at minimum, and many have received very high grades and have no math/science anxiety once they get through me. I have had an extremely high success rate. All of my students have said they end up leaving me fulfilled and definitely feeling it was worth their time and money. At the very least, the students tend to leave me with a deeper understanding and/or appreciation for Math/Science, and sometimes an interest that blooms into a love for the subject. Some of whom have minored in Math or Science as a result of my tutoring. I've even had students who converted to the Math and Chemistry majors at UC Davis who initially thought they couldn't handle the subject, or that it was difficult. Whether you are looking to get better at a subject, or tackle a legitimate obstacle, I am there and have continuously delivered results.
