I like being able to help other students learn the aspects that they don't understand. At home, I would help my cousins with their homework and now at school I help my housemates with science subjects that they have trouble understanding. This process of helping them really helped me reinforce my current knowledge, and in the meanwhile I could solve some of my own problems. Being a tutor also gives me the opportunity to review the materials, and practice my communications skills with a variety of people to better prepare myself for vet school. I have taken Calculus, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Statistics, Biology in college. I also took math of all areas back in China. Most of my experience are related with animals: I have volunteered at the sacramento zoo, worked at the baby Barn for California state fair, and volunteered at 2 small animal clinic.

Hobbies
I love watching all kinds of movies to relax myself and my favorite actor is HUGH JACKMAN! I cook Chinese food pretty well now. Without a set receipe, they actually taste really good! Swimming is my favorite sport, and after I came to Davis, I fell in love with biking, again! I love dogs, sharks, whales and all marine mammals. I also have 2 poodles at home in China, Didi and Gingerbread. I also played Glock in the Cal Aggie Marching Band.
