Desiree G.
Private tutor in Davis, CA
Education
Hello, My name is Desiree Garcia-Solano and I am a third year at the University of California, Davis. I am a Pharmaceutical Chemistry major and I plan to become a pharmacists after attending graduate school in California.
Experience
My experience with tutoring comes from tutoring my younger cousins, and siblings in difficult subjects such as, Math, Biology, Chemistry, Spanish and English. I was an independent contractor in my hometown and volunteered at my high school to tutor peers younger than me. I am paying for college on my own which is why I decided to tutor on the side of my academic career. Personally I am a visual learner which I believe helps students better develop concepts on difficult subjects and makes a clearer thought process for students if approaching a problem step by step.
