Experience
I'm a recent graduate from University of California, Davis with a Bachelor degree in Biochemistry and a minor emphasis in Economics. I started tutoring when I was a high school sophomore volunteering at a local elementary school after school program. I gained experience working with young students and enhanced my communication skills. After this volunteering-ship, I was able to convey my thoughts more straightforwardly to my students, which in turn helped them to understand the materials much better. Upon entering college, I continued to be a tutor focusing mainly on high school students who needed help with math and science classes. Most of my students continued with me until end of their high school careers. During sessions, I keep the atmosphere to be fun while making sure my students understand the materials. I am very supportive of my students. In addition to tutoring, I also give advice on extracurricular activities and college applications. I tutor all high school math classes from Algebra I to AP Calculus. Sciences classes I tutor include high school and AP Chemistry and Biology.
