I graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a major in Biopsychology and a minor in Applied Psychology in September 2015. I have also taken Summer Session at UCDavis to fulfill some psychology upper division electives.
Experience
-Worked as a test proctor and note-taker for the Disabled Students Program at UCSB -Scored an 800 on the SAT Verbal and a 750 on the SAT Writing -Earned 5s on both AP English tests -Taught Clarinet for a year a half (experience working with junior high students) -High school math TA for Algebra 2 -12th Grade: ran an AP Statistics Study Group -Lead a Neuroscience study group for upper division biopsychology courses I love teaching because not only am I able to help someone, but because it allows me to grow and learn as well. One of my favorite aspects of late high school and college was collaborating with different students. I would trade essays with my housemates so we could grade each other's work, and I enjoyed meeting with study groups to cover class material and discuss recent research.
