I received my Bachelor of Science from the University of California Santa Cruz, studying Earth and Planetary Science with a concentration in Environmental Geology. I also received a Professional Master of Science from American University in Environmental Assessment.
Experience
I have over 7 years of experience tutoring math and statistics - 4 years as a private tutor and 3 years as an employee of my undergraduate and graduate universities. I participated in a quarter-long training course for tutors and educators, as well as received quarterly training in tutoring techniques for mathematics. I have experience tutoring grade school, high school, homeschooled, and university level students, as well as adults preparing for standardized tests. My academic studies also allow me to tutor geology and environmental sciences. I am also available for writing help on essays or english/language arts courses.
