I am a tutor with experience studying and teaching a wide range of different subjects. I am currently attending the University of California, Davis, in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in managerial economics. I have extensive experience tutoring students from many different environments. While in high school, I gained experience as a biology and Spanish tutor. I also have three years of experience working as a personal tennis coach. I am comfortable tutoring students in a variety of different subjects, including algebra 1-2, calculus 1-2, differential equations, geometry, pre-calculus, statistics, trigonometry, biology, physiology, writing, literature, psychology, English, and Spanish. I am also available to help students prepare for standardized tests, specifically the ACT. Additionally, I am qualified to help students edit collegiate level essays.My philosophy as a tutor emphasizes adapting the way I teach to fit the unique learning style of each student. Not every student learns the same way. Thus, it is very important to utilize a teaching style that will be the most effective for each student. My value as a tutor stems from my patience and my ability to communicate effectively. Outside of school, I enjoy cycling, longboarding, playing tennis, weight training, and running.
